Such a beautiful place now being threatened by violence. There's the Covid19 problem that's yet to be resolved. Please keep the peace by restraining yourselves from doing anything that will endanger more people.



Here's what we know, so far:


China's National People's Congress has authorized a committee to draft a national security law that will assert the country's sovereignty over the former British colony. Such a move caused fear and anger to the residents of Hong Kong, having been used to many decades of democratic rule starting when the British governed the territory. Despite immense danger posed by the Covid19 pandemic, protests happened and it is very likely that more will happen in the coming days.

 "Hong Kong and its dynamic, enterprising and free people have flourished for decades as a bastion of liberty, and this decision gives me no pleasure," Mike Pompeo, US Secretary of State

DOHA Round Updates & Preferential Tariffs in Practice

T he DOHA round of the World Trade Organization (WTO) negotiations intends to promote the opening of markets and promoting free trade. This April, the latest meeting failed to reach a conclusion.
