Clean Air

The increasing level of emission in our roads today makes it more and more difficult for people to live a healthy life. It won’t be long before air purifiers become required gadgets before building permits can be issued to any establishment. Of course, there’s hope. All these hybrid vehicles that are being invented somehow offer an alternative to the future of our environment. Let’s hope that it becomes a commercial reality before things become too late.

DOHA Round Updates & Preferential Tariffs in Practice

T he DOHA round of the World Trade Organization (WTO) negotiations intends to promote the opening of markets and promoting free trade. This April, the latest meeting failed to reach a conclusion. Director-General Pascal Lamy of the World Trade Organization delivered a speech before the US Chamber of Commerce on April 23, 2007. Here are excerpts from his speech.
